Something Cheery

Cache Pot with Pansies, 16" x 12"

 Dear Imaginary Friends,

I don't know about you, but winter makes me feel sluggish, tired and blah. I find that it helps me to surround myself with bright colors, in warm hues. The painting above is just what Dr. Happy ordered! Something that reminds us of Spring. Art therapy has real value. You don't have to paint the art in question; you can just hang it. :)

Friday Night, On the Corner of Happy and Art

Cherry Pie, by Patricia Uchello
Dear Imaginary Friends,

This Friday night, I will be living it up at ArtsFest, which is the annual 3-d art party sponsored by the Art League.

Me and my fave baby

It is located at the Madison Annex, on the corner of happy and art.

OK, the actual address is Madison St. At the corner of North Fairfax.
A live band and free wine and snacks add to the merriment, as the distinguished 3 d art teachers give demos, such as jewelry making, weaving, and stained glass.

Be there or be square, from 6-9.
I will be waiting for you there!

Happy Or Sad

Patsie and Beth contemplate the finer things in life
Dear Imaginary Friends,

Whether you are happy or sad, a snowball makes things better. Especially if it is from Casey's Snoballs in Metairie, Louisiana.

Your snowball fiend,
Patsie
