Dear Imaginary Friends,

The best lunch that I never had  was a salad at the Montage Resort in Laguna Beach.

Virginia had the wisdom to order the grilled peach salad, and it was such sheer bliss when I tasted it, that I remember it all these years later. We were in Los Angeles because Carlo was competing on the Jeopardy Show. It turned into a great little family trip. And I still wish I had ordered that grilled peach salad.
