Tulips and Tomatillos

Tulips and Tomatillos has a fresh colorful vibe.  It was painted quickly on a navy blue stained canvas. That color remains as an outline around the tulips.  I love a good outline!! And I enjoy the ultra-bright coloration of the tulips.

Dear Imaginary Friends,
I have been working on many different oil paintings simultaneously lately. Keeps me off the streets!

Branch of Peaches, Oil, for sale

After much struggle, this one is finally done. Phew!
Those peaches may look easy to paint, but trust me, they are only easy to eat. The variation of hues, and the fuzzy texture had me really working hard.
I feel great to have it finished. Now on to the other three projects I am working on...

Love,
Patsie

Teatime

 Dear Imaginary Friends,

Since I sold 14 paintings from my River Farm show, I thought I would show you some items that are still on the wall. I am trying to replace sold pieces as they sell, but have not succeeded in filling every spot yet. The two pictured with me Amaryllis and Chambered Nautilus, are new to the show. So even if you have seen the show already, there is new work to see!

Reality Vs Art

This oil painting, Cache Pot with Pansies, is available for sale at A Show of Hands Today. Now. And Tomorrow.

Above you see the set up from which I painted. Sometimes we artists tweak reality and make it more vibrant.

GO check it out! It is a very happy camper, as paintings go.
