Three Year Old Bliss

What greater bliss out than cupcakes, theme parties with Thomas the Train, carousels and choo choos?
Nothing is better than bringing out your inner three year old. And what better way than by celebrating a birthday with a three year old? Bliss out!
The toys! The sugar! The fun!
Your imaginary three year old,
Patsie

Connor, Not to be Outdone

As liaison to the White House for the Pentagon, I would like to start a new protocol of compulsory naps at 11, 2 and 4. Pampers will be sold in the bathrooms, and  formula will be served in traditional, coffee-flavor, and chocolate in the Pentagon commissary.

Strict discipline will rain down upon those who make fun of my height-challenges. They will find that I am small but mighty.

Baby in chief,
Connor

A Year Ago Today

Cookie holding Parker
Only an hour old
Dear Imaginary Friends,

Grandbabies are so special. The first time I held tiny Parker was a year ago today. He was small, fresh and sweet. His hair was dark and shiny, his skin flushed red.

How he has grown and changed over the last year! He has traveled from newborn to infant to toddler. He now walks, sings and dances. He has blond hair, blue/brown eyes. He is a snuggler and an explorer; daring and afraid: A contradiction in terms.

Words cannot explain the bloom in your heart when you first hold your child's child. It is the best gift there is.

Your Imaginary Grandmother,
Patsie

"Summer Love, Happens So Fa-ast"

From Grace, to Grease!
Dear Imaginary Friend,

One more time, let us review the budding romance of Parker and Grace, his friend from Lewes, Delaware, who is pictured here offering Parker a shell from the beach. It reminds me of the song from the movie "Grease", starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. In one of the opening scenes, the love struck couple, who have met during the summer, sing the duet "Summer Love". And that is the soundtrack in my head, as I gaze upon this cute twosome.

"Those sum-umme-mer ni-ights! So, Grace, isn't he a little young for you? Don't wear high heels on your date, is all I am saying.

Patsie

Carlo and Parker

Carlo Encourages His Grandson to Eat a Box
Dear Imaginary Friend,
The risk- taking behavior begins early, before they (males) hit one year old. Boys will be boys. Roughhousing, drinking while driving and eating boxes: All your basic boy stuff.
Sincerely,
Patsie
PS I am a lady, and never eat boxes

When You Are a Cute Stuffing...It's Hard to Sit Up

Newest Achievement: Parker Sitting Up for 5 seconds at a time, before falling over
It's not easy sitting up! This purple chair is a new fangled contraption to help babies sit up. In the old days, we sat up the hard way, on our butts. And when we fell forward, we may have lost a tooth or two, but it built character!

Are You Talking To ME?????

Robert De Niro, Age 3 months
Dear Imaginary Friends,

Ok, I admit; this is actually Parker Lyon, not Robert De Niro. But it could have been. I am just saying. A while back, when Medicare was a new concept.

Because I have such a fascinating life, I am typing this at 10 pm on New Year's Eve. Party hearty!

George Clooney just bought this same penguin suit in size medium, adult. Elizabetta and I find it quite flattering! George and Parker said to tell you all, Happy New Years.

Sincerely,
Patsie, grandmother to a future movie star
